Non-university Research Facilities
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Klingbeil is head of the Accelerator Technology Group at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as head of the Department
Ring RF Systems (RRF) at
GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung.
Both, staff and students have the popular opportunity to perform measurements and experiments at GSI and use the results in their work.
Besides we are in close contact to the Beams Department / Radio-Frequency Group at CERN.

Collaborations existed/exist for example with the following research groups:
- Institut für Kernphysik at TU Darmstadt
- Digital Technology Group (Department 16) at the University of Kassel
- Lehrgebiet Elektronik und Digitaltechnik (Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences
